Hannah wrote (my parents) today. For those of you family members feeling a little ripped off that Hannah isn't sending out a weekly mass e-mail like other missionaries tend to do, don't feel too bad. I've only gotten one letter from her and I've written her 5. I guess she wants us to write her and she'll respond to us personally (although I'm still waiting for her to catch up). She requested that the following be posted on her blog:
My Spanish is...alright. For the first time yesterday I thought, "I might actually be able to speak Spanish." But then I went into the new district's room to practice. I said "we are missionaries" (in Spanish). They laughed and corrected me. I turned and walked out of the room. Very dramatic. They kept laughing. I think they thought I would come back in, but I didn't. Haha. We walked to the bathroom and while I was waiting outside, the district leaders came up and apologized. I guess their district has had a problem with offending people. Anyway, everyone in the district is SUPER nice to me. "Hola, Hermana."
At the gym everyone asks me my running times. I'm pretty sure I said that already, but I just wanted to emphasize what a star I am here.
