Thanksgiving Tacos

OK at least I'm not going to Pico Truncado, but close.  I'm getting transferred.  I wanted to get transferred because this week I got bored of everyone here.  But I tried to get in the mind set that I was staying because I'm training.  Just 5 weeks with my little Hna. Winters.  She hadn't even started getting on my nerves yet.  But no, I'm going to Sarmiento which I have visited before and it is nice.  But wait here is the worst nightmare...I'm getting put in a trio with not one, but 2 gringas! I thought I hated having a gringa as a comp now I'm getting two.  They both have less time than me.  When they told me I didn't even try to hide how disappointed I was...but whatever.  My poor comp has it debatable worse.  Her new comp is a gringa with the same amount of time as she has...I tried to pretend like that isn't going to be a problem, but lets be honest how are they going to call to confirm lunch?  I just keep telling her, "vamos a tener much historias despues ese traslado." *babelfish.com translate that to " we will have much stories after that transfer"
For my comps birthday I went all out, but really.  I woke up at 4:40 am to make her breakfast in bed.  And then right when I was ready she jumped in the shower and took a 45 minute shower...So I made her get back in bed to take a photo.  I also made everyone sing to her at the conference and bought her one of those really cool candles they have here.  I bought her colored pencils.  And we sang her Feliz Cumple in the taxi.
On Monday we had a "party" and this elder made her a cake.  I had the elders wrap up "gifts" which was junk they found around the capilla.  It was a dang good birthday if I can say so myself.
Eating Jello for Thanksgiving *that is a Robins tradition.
Eating Tacos with a family for Thanksgiving.  I text them to remind them and when they didn't text me back I set up another cita, but when it came time we decided to stop by and say, "hello".  They were cooking tacos so I quickly cancelled the other cita.  Why does that always happen?  When you count on them they let you down and when you don't they make tacos.
This is a picture of a miracle...that Marcia and Dario came to church.  I gave her my skirt and she got all dolled up!  She was looking better than the rest of the ward and her baby too.  I couldn't be happier that they came.
It is tricky to tell, but the wind here is so frequent that the trees at the beach are always leaning.  This was taken on our morning run at the beach.
