Doesn't Translate well into Spanish

But the weekend has been freezing.  No my nose hairs have not frozen yet, but I do smell like a wet dog.  It rained and snowed a little this weekend making it some of the longest days of my mission.  I have never prayed so hard to not be cold.  For the most part my prayers have been answered.  I cried a little in the street because we had no one to pass by and the wind was so strong I literally stopped mid step...but all is well.  My companion was SOOOO excited to see the snow she made me video tape her on the way to church.  She is not familiar with the snow which also means she doesn't know how to stay warm.  I taught her how to put plastic bags on her feet so they don't get wet, but she won't listen to me about the hat and gloves.  When it is this cold it really doesn't matter what you look like...

The story of Katrina:
We found Katrina in the street and took down her address.  It took us a while to find her apartment because she told us the wrong street but once we found it she wasn't home.  So we knocked on her neighbor's door and one seemed very interested.  We set up an appointment and returned a few days later, the neighbor wasn't home, but Katrina was!  She opened the door and immediately said, "pasen" we taught her the restauracion.  The spirit was so strong.  She came to church the next Sunday.  An investagador every missionary prays for.  Then she moved to Buenos Aires.  She moved to Puerto Madyrn so escape some problems I didn't understand, but her husband couldn't find work so he moved back up to Buenos Aires.  She was very lonely and confused living in a small studio apartment with her 11 year old daughter when we found her.  We knocked on her door the same day.  She prayed to know if God had forgotten her.  I can't help but notice the hand God has in every one of our lives.  She moved to Puerto for one month probably just to find us and the Gospel.  What a miracle.  God sure does have his ways.
