Wednesday we got to see the game at a member's house. [The mission] president figured it would be a better use of our time. We went to the Marcos family house. Everyone went to their own rooms to watch the game because they didn't want distractions. Which I thought was weird. Then they gave us hot chocolate to drink. I laughed to myself, because that is probably the last thing my friends in the states were drinking. They won and we were sent home for our safety. But the truth is they just don't want us celebrating because it is far from dangerous here at the end of the world [cup].
Sunday we were sent home before the game even started. My arm fell asleep during my nap and that's the extent that I can tell you about the finals. Sorry not much to report on when you are a missionary. I can say that I was surprised that it wasn't mention in church at all, unlike the Utah VS. BYU games. I did sport my Argentina socks to church...under my tights!
De Mundial
Hermana Velaquez from Mexico and the fog that never lets up....Except for the picture below of me carrying my comp 8 blocks for lunch...yay she ended up walking because 8 blocks is a lot longer than it sounds.
