We worked all week on preparing Belen, Nora, and Luis to go to church this week. We did everything. We had members invite them, and pick them up etc. I felt pretty good Saturday night, because I was sure that Belen and Luis would show up. They both cancelled in the morning...but whatever I was still pretty happy because I was sure I did everything I could. We then walked into Sunday School and there he was, Felix (we have Sacrament last). A man that we quickly shared a scripture with in the house of a less active that we just happened to find knocking doors. We focused on her, but Felix was there listening. I invited him to church and he said he'd go, just like everyone says. I took down his address. On Saturday we were walking on his street so we stopped and put a Post-It note on his door to remind him about church. It sure is amazing how sometimes its the simple things that work.
[I think these are from when Hannah had to travel to renew her visa?]
One of our convero (converts?) is 9 and she made a play house this week and demanded that we teach her inside of it this week...that was fun.
I let my companions open my packages because they never get any, but I never share what's inside haha. Thanks for all the tights. Oh and I got a package from Aunt Traci this week too...She mailed it in November I'm guessing. So tell her I got the Christmas CD and candy and thanks!
The wind here is so strong that it literally almost blows you over. Saturday it was so bad that my face hurt all night from the dirt and sand hitting it. My face has been "sun burnt" looking this week...but I was told that it is not from the sun it's from the wind. There was on missionary that literally has scars on her face from the wind...I'm a little freaked out.
