Top 10 most exciting things that happened in the past month or so
10. I got a new companion that doesn't speak English. I sometimes forget this and try to talk to her in English. Then She looks at me like I'm crazy.
9. My new companion is from Paraguay which means she also speaks Guarani-which means sometimes I wonder if she is speaking Spanish or not.
8. I talked in my sleep in Spanish the other night. I guess I said something like, "What do you want to share?" This lead to one of the happiest days of my mission.
7. A few nights after that ^ I had a dream and the whole time I was lost and struggling to speak Spanish...I was speaking Spanish in my dream so does that mean I'm fluent?
6. My new favorite game is yelling at the dogs in English to "shut up."
5. In Central someone or some group of people have drawn this little animal all over the wall. Every time I ask people what it is everyone says they haven't seen it. Anyway I have started couting them as "contacts".
4. I had a my birthday and 3 cakes. Luckily all in different weeks. One on my birthday, one the week after where I had to do the traditional "bite the cake and shove your face in it."
3. My companion figured out what "I hate my life" means so I now have to be careful when I say that.
2. A lady in my ward made me a fleece skirt to wear under my skirts!
1. Mid pray on lunch, the little boy sitting next to me threw up all over his plate!
(you get to pick your own caption on this one...Hannah didn't say what they were doing. LOL)
We played the paper bag game! I was so excited because I found a paper bag...Argentinians suck at stupid games. They just don't know how to have fun! And they really aren't flexible...I sure miss yoga!!
Hermana Montana made me a fleece skirt to wear under my other skirts...life saver...I gave her a packet of taco mix, because she told me she really liked it.
Herman Gomez (the goddess of cakes) made me a birthday cake (she thought my birthday was the 12th). She put one of these firework things on it because a looong time ago I said the only thing I wanted for my birthday was a firework thing.
We stopped doing clase de Ingles and started doing dance classes...much more fun AND a better turn out. My companion teaches it while I control the radio.
Studying with my tea and robe (thanks mom).
This little animal drawing is everywhere. And I have no idea what it means.
No picture to accompany #1?
