Living

You're not living til....
you have moved to a place where you know less than 5 people besides your family (missions don't count!!)
you've broken up with someone you love
you've laughed so hard you've almost peed your pants
you've karaoked with Korans
you've had a Christmas that you were the poor family people donated to

So I work for my aunt, Yoonjong, at her Sushi restaurant and let me tell you, it's a great job! Occasionally we have work parties where we eat lots of food and then go to a karaoke bar. At the bar we get a private room where we can dance and sing our hearts out. The first time, I was very nervous. The last time I had karaoked was in middle school and I made a fool of myself. So I decide I would go and watch. I'm always up for something new. But like my co-worker, Ben, warned me they would make me sing. My first song was rough. Let me give you a tip. When you go karoking make sure you know more words then just the title.... I learned that the hard way so for my next song I picked a high school musical song! I aced it!  When I heard there was a second party scheduled I couldn't wait. I don't think I would typically like karaoke but with good company it the best and you haven't lived until you've done it.

  3. Yes, thanks for the update and I guess I've never lived and probably never will. Does it have to be with Koreans to truly live? (or can you do it with Korans, the holy book of Islam, which also might be against their religion).
