Leap Day

Today is Leap Day. A very under appreciated day. In fact I considered calling my congressman TODAY to ask how to make it a National holiday. It only comes every four years (or so) and yet no one pays any attention to it. It's one extra day in the year and yet Americans celebrate Cinco de Mayo more, which isn't even a real holiday.  Last week I began looking and researching things to do on the momentous day, but I came up with nothing! How is there not more traditions for this amazing day. In my personal opinion, I think there should be parades and partying and singing and dancing and no school or work. But since this is not so, I decided to celebrate by myself!
I made Frog treats (it was the only thing I could think of)

Furthermore today is Leap Day. It's one extra day in the year. So I decided to only do things I want to do. This is how my day went:
Woke up, got dressed and brushed my teeth
Went to boot camp
Went to class
Went to lab
Went home and remember I needed to ask my professor a question
Drove back to school
Parked at a meter (Someone had already paid it!)
Found a quarter
Asked professor questions and made her laugh
Drove home while car dancing
Talked to roommate
Showered (stayed in along as I wanted)
Put on sweats
Ate Lunch
Watched trashy MTV
Took an hour and a half nap
Cleaned the kitchen
Went to the bathroom
Cleaned toilet
Got ready (wore a "summer" shirt)
Made phone calls
Called my Mom while walking to library
Studied
Made blog

Basically the best day ever. Everyday should be Leap Day. It fact, from now on I'm only doing what I want to do everyday.
